We offer both mixed dahlia seeds and seeds from named parents. 

When we sell seeds from named parents, we only know the name of the parent plant the seeds were harvested from. 

The dahlias that grow from your purchased seeds will be unique varieties never before seen! Love the flowers you get from your seedlings? Talk to your local dahlia society about the process to stabilize genetics and register the varieties with the name you choose.

New to growing dahlias from seed?

Don’t panic if they take a while to germinate.

Dahlia seeds can sometimes take up to a month to germinate even under ideal conditions (under a dome, on a heat mat, kept moist). Dahlia seeds planted straight into your garden may take longer than that to germinate if conditions outside are not ideal for germination.
