NOID (or "no ID") dahlias are flowers we have growing in the garden whose true identity is unknown. Rather than make this a random grab bag tuber, we're showing you pictures and giving you the chance to bring it home despite us not knowing its true name.

Please note that "Pumpkin Spice" is what we are calling it at Creative Green Gardens, but the NOID before "Pumpkin Spice" means we don't really know its true identity. (if you find out, would you let us know??)

I have never seen anything quite like this unique, straight cactus dahlia. The background color is beige - a color I have rarely seen in dahlias. The variegated stripes are a dark red to burdundy color.

With fall vibes in droves and a decent stem length, this flower seems like it would be the perfect addition to fall bouquets and arrangements

Planting directions

After danger of frost has passed, plant dahlia tubers in loose, well draining soil amended with compost and a well rounded fertilizer. Tubers should be planted 2-5” deep.

Alternatively, start tubers indoors 4-5 weeks before last frost by planting in a pot with good quality potting soil. Plant outside after all danger of frost has passed.

Dahlias prefer full sun but will do well in a partial sun location as long as it is they are not crowded by taller plants.
