Crazy Legs Dahlia Tuber

This beautiful dahlia features bi-color blooms with petals that roll slightly. The petals on the flowers are yellow-orange on top and a warmer mix raspberry-orange on the undersides of the petals.

Planting directions

After danger of frost has passed, plant dahlia tubers upright in loose, well draining soil amended with compost and a well rounded fertilizer. Tubers should be planted shallowly with the crown end barely below the surface of the soil.

Alternatively, start tubers indoors 4-5 weeks before last frost by planting vertically in a pot with good quality potting soil with the crown just above the surface of the soil. Plant outside after all danger of frost has passed.

Dahlias prefer full sun but will do well in a partial sun location as long as it is they are not crowded by taller plants.
