This flower is in its second year of development and not yet registered with the American Dahlia Society. It is producing such an abundance of tubers, though, that we can't wait to share!
This pink and yellow ombre semi-cactus dahlia puts out loads of stunning flowers all season long.
Early in the season, petals are darker and come in flat. As the season goes on, flowers come in with more curved semi-cactus style petals and the color is a more pastel pink. Please see our photos to get a feel for the transformation your flowers will go through throughout the season.
This variety was our most prolific producer of both flowers and tubers in our 2024 growing year!

Planting directions
After danger of frost has passed, plant dahlia tubers upright in loose, well draining soil amended with compost and a well rounded fertilizer. Tubers should be planted shallowly with the crown end barely below the surface of the soil.
Alternatively, start tubers indoors 4-5 weeks before last frost by planting vertically in a pot with good quality potting soil with the crown just above the surface of the soil. Plant outside after all danger of frost has passed.
Dahlias prefer full sun but will do well in a partial sun location as long as it is they are not crowded by taller plants.
This listing is for one dahlia tuber with one or more good eyes.
Please note that tuber size and shape can vary from short and fat to long and skinny. Shape and size of the tuber is not an indicator of tuber quality or viability. We only send out tubers we would be happy to receive ourselves.
